Our vision is to provide isolated underprivileged children an opportunity to a better future by reducing inequality due to poverty.
Our Story
Dana was founded in 2016 after the founder encountered a child beggar on the streets of New Delhi. As it was the local syndicate that would benefit from monetary donations given to the child, a single piece of fruit was given instead which resulted in tears of gratefulness and joy.
Dr Bee appreciates that as a medical doctor, more can be done to help the less fortunate aside from routine professional work.
Strategy 2023-2028 :
We aim to deliver impact to the most destitute of children. Hence, we remain 100% non-profit where 100% of the donations received and funds raised are delivered entirely to the children. As a small organisation relying on volunteered time and participations, we have thus decided to reach out to secluded underprivileged children who are often under the radar. Depending on the needs of the child or the community as a whole, we have developed and implemented various projects, some of which are mentioned below in brief.
Sponsor-A-Kid
Matching severely disadvantaged children with a sponsor to provide continuing support.
Ride for future
Purchasing bicycles to reduce transit time to school which are often several hours one way.
